How do I contact DBL with questions?
Can I place an order before I have my dorm room assignment?
Yes, you can. All room assignments are confirmed with the University Resident Life prior to installment. Please leave the building name & room number blank if this is unknown.
How do I know if my order went through?
You will receive a confirmation email from PayPal followed by another directly from DBL.
Are bed lofts available for purchase?
No, bed loft kits are only available for rent.
What if I change rooms?
Please notify DBL via email at info@dormbedlofts.com with your name, current room assignment and new room assignment. Once the room change is confirmed with the University we will schedule the move. There will be a room change fee.
Can I move or disassemble the DBL myself?
NO, do not attempt to disassemble. Installation, approved relocation and removal to be done by authorized DBL personnel ONLY. Any damages or disassembling may result in a damaged/lost fine.
What does the loft kit include?
Your DBL includes the loft lift that attaches to your dorm assigned bed along with one guardrail.
What if I don’t want the guardrail?
We are required to provide a guardrail with all orders as part of our agreement with the University.
Do I need to renew my order for the Spring semester?
No, all orders are for the entire University academic school year beginning in the Fall and at the end of Spring.
What is the height under the bed with a DBL?
The height is approx. 56 in.
Tall enough to place your desk under the lofted bed and sit comfortably.
Do I need to notify anyone when I move out at the end of the school year?
No, bed lofts will be picked up after the University scheduled move out day.
Can I order after the University scheduled move-in date?
Yes, post season and late move-in orders will be installed by appointment only.
